Mirror Varanus

Well rumours suggest that the Mirror Varanus will be in the Undine lockbox. It will be the first none Klingon KDF ship in the game in a long time

What would you like to see it have?

    an ensign tac instead of a ensign engi. That is what i expect at least, since the normal is the opposite of the deep space science vessel, it would be cool to have a KDF version of the recon science vessel.

    I don't see them giving away a c-store ship away for practically free.

    They already HAVE, or have you forgot about the Mirror Dhelan and the Mirror Heavy cruiser (well, okay, technically you get the heavy cruiser retro from a fleet but still)

    What are they supposed to do for Romulans? They already gave away the three non c-store ships.

    what do you mean? The mirror ships are not exact copies of their C-store or normal counterparts (except for the original 6 fed ones, but those were not c-store ships at all)

    The mirror ships tend to switch a boff seat out for something else. and for the c-store/(sort-of) fleet ships they tend to make the mirror ones have a permanent boff seat instead of a universal ones.

    The Dhelan retrofit is a C-store ship, the Mirror version makes the uni-slot into a engi only slot.

    Mirror ships of C-Store ships don't come with the consoles.

    A Mirror Veranus would be without the Repair Platform thingie, which IMO is quite a nice, underrated console in keeping your teammates' hulls well repaired without throwing out repair abilities all over the place.

    I mean there are only really three non c-store Romulan ships in the game...so if they don't just want to stay repeating the same three they have to go with c-store ships.

    I just think if they start going from c-store ships from the other factions it could open some flood gates...especially if they're better than the c-store ships in general. Like I can see almost any change to the Varanus to be superior than the c-store version's build. (Only worse I can see it making the ensign a sci slot.)

    These "rumors" scare me.

    Lately we've been getting these "rumors" about upcoming lockboxes and they apparently they're Undine or something and someone is leaking the contents of these boxes in such detail it would seem that they know almost too much.

    once again, you do not seem to understand, there already IS c-store ship that has a mirror variant. The DHELAN retro IS A C_STORE SHIP, and there IS a MIRROR DHELAN RETRO.

    You clearly aren't reading but what you want out of my posts...

    Let me spell it out for you...SF and KDF = Lots of options RR = Not lots of options.

    Other Raptors, Bortas, and the K'tanco I can think of offhand.

    oh you mean C-store ships, and fleet ships (of which are honestly just as bad as using c-store ships and s something they have already done)

    Qorgh and Pach are free, Bortas was free during the 2nd anniversary and now only costs fleet fleet credits.

    K'tanco isn't on the c-store and I'm sure there are fans who would be happy with one even if it was just a mirror version just to have a t5 version.

    Oh and I forgot there isn't a c-store t5 K't'inga...
