Unable to Connect to Patch Server

I keep getting this error... no update in the news forum that I can see. Does a dev have an update, please?

    Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient. Tried connecting 68 times ... heart attack.

    This is honestly ridicules, this is happening more and more started with the chat server lagging/crashing now it's the game server. Pretty lame
