I have a Klingon aligned Romulan and plan to use KHG 2 piece set on a torpedo boat, but I'm not sure which 2 parts to use.
For the shield, I'm debating between the KHG for the chance to placate, and the Jem'Hadar for the added kinetic resist.
For the Impulse Engines, either the KHG for the small AUX boost along with hot restart, or the Aegis for the straight %5 bonus defense and slightly better turn.
For the Deflector, the KHG boosts Structural Integrity and Stealth. The Assimilated gives a bigger bonus to Structural Integrity as well as a +5 to AUX, or the Romulan which boosts Stealth.
It used to say Subvert Targeting Array, but now it just says...
20% Chance: Any attacker that hits you with Energy Weapons may become Placated for 1sec. (Max once every 10 seconds)
Course, you run into the issue of if the target is already Placate immune from something else, then you're still looking at the 10s CD even though nothing happened...

As far as I knew, the placate effect was removed from the KHG set, as it is now in the Romulan rep tree, level 4 if I recall.
The hot restart is good in PvP - in PvE basically what ever goes.
