What Happens to the new Promotion! Packs when the event ends?

What happens to the Promotion! Packs when the event ends? I like the new mechanic because you don't have to get a bunch of useless DOFF's. In case y'all don't know the new packs award Lobi OR a JHAS AND a Romulan Survivor Pack. So I'm curious what's going to happen to these new packs when the event ends. Will they just turn into regular Romulan packs? Will they just be pretty containers for the packs? I think the old packs will revert to their former state after the event ends so if that's the case will these continue to award the JHAS since you won't be able to buy the Promotion! Packs anymore?

    I bought a couple.

    The difference is, the DOFF pack comes in a reward box during the promotion.

    Open the box, get the promotional award + the pack.

    Open the pack, get the normal pack reward.

    After the promotion, I'm assuming that buying the DOFFs just gives you the pack and not the box.

    Only question remaining is whether the box still rewards the promotional award after the promotion is over. I suspect the answer is yes, but can't confirm that obviously.

    Just out of curiosity do you get any "perks" for being a volunteer moderator? I know they don't pay you but they could like give you ZEN or something.

    yep the promotion packs are going to skyrocket and im sure there are a lot of players holding out for that -.- dang ferangi

    I thought they were going to be turned into Demotion packs. Because anybody who falls for this scheme should be busted back down to ensign for a month and have their pilot's license suspended. Yeah, leave you stuck at ESD for a month as punishment. :D

    Supply and demand drive this market just like a real one... If you don't like the price don't buy it! We are not ******n socialists that give away everything to lazy worthless couch potatoes!!! If you want it your gonna have to pay for it.

    Sorry but I'm tired of the entitlement streak running through these forums so I had to rant. I make income off of investing in the in-game market, I don't charge outrageous prices but I do charge higher prices on rare items. It's the only reliable way to make large amounts of EC. I do it completely honestly, if my prices are to high then no one buys it and I drop them! Simple as that. Don't be jealous because I have more money than you! That's called Socialism and it's a plague like cancer that destroys entire empires. There will always be someone richer than you... Fact of life.

    Nope, nothing like that. I don't get anything of any monetary or in-game value. That would make me a 'paid volunteer', wouldn't it?
