Hey all - just would like to share my Orb Weaver build. It's just for general derping around in Kerrat, PvP Arenas, and a little PvE.
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=yoink_0
Toon has full rep.
Duty Officers:
1x Tractor Beam Officer (reverses TBR)
1xM-AM Engineer (Resistance and extension of AtD)
3xDCE (Chance to boost cooldown rates of EPtX)
1x wildcard (currently have a chance to drain weapons power to recipient of team abilities)
Full uptime AtD keeps resistance high and turn hopping.
Plenty of team abilities means decent secondary healing.
Polaron for the lethal proc
Mask Energy Field from Adapted MACO keeps defense high.
Double TBR along with warp plasma gives decent controlling
and a fairly fun sci-alpha with the Web Generator+Subnuke+TBR+Sensor Scan yanking your opponents into the web for extra damage.
Emergency Power to Aux can be swapped out for any other.
It's not an optimal build, but it is fairly amusing to fly. I wanted to figure out a build that kept my old Orb Weaver in operation - that poor ship is practically unseen nowadays.
Suggestions are welcome.

Personally, I'd run it with 2x A2D1 (Lt. Ability is really all it needs) and 2x RSP2, with the RSP doff too; and then ditch the Neutronium for a Zero-Point module.
Or don't use RSP doff, and get a Conn Officer, for your single TT.
In fact, the shortage of doff positions here (3x DCE) makes we wonder whether you really need the EPtA1. You probably don't, with that Leech.
I really like it. I would really consider using ET3 or ET1 and EPtS3. The shield heal is really nice and the resistance is huge, but that's just me.
True enough, about the EPtA. I originally had EPtE on, but that was just a bit too fast to handle. I don't use it much for the power as for that little boost in perception in Kerrat. I'm always a tad leery about leaving my only hull heal being HE, which is why I have ET, especially with Elachi unlocked. Aside from that, all changes worth experimenting with, though.
I did consider those, and I likely would have gone with one of those. However, I'm just a little too lazy to go and hunt down an engineer to train those two.
