Dev Blogs and Arc Games

No clue if this is the proper forum, so just gonna throw this out there.

I was searching for a specific dev blog to reference in a post a few minutes ago, I go on google, since if you search Dev Blogs STO it gives you a decent list on the first link.

I click on said link. I get to the page I want. Suddenly, I get this comment about how it's moved to Arc Games, blah blah blah. Fine, whatever. Then I get there, go to the search box... and I can't find an index of the Dev Blogs, like I could before. I even searched Dev Blog Index in the search box, and all I got was a list of individual dev blogs.

So then I went into a dev blog, went to the bottom, clicked the link that said Dev Blog index... and guess what? Got to the page I wanted... only to get re-directed BACK to the Arc Games site... and I still couldn't find the index.

So I guess this is a complaint about the Arc Games site... could you guys possibly put up an index page for the Dev Blogs from each season like the OLD STO site had? Would be very useful.

Thanks!

That one works, but it's for Season 8. Try some of the older seasons.

Just go to the current STO homepage and scroll down. You'll get there ... eventually ...

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

Cuz I totally have 2 hours to just scroll and wait for things to load. Sounds good, I'll get right on it. -.-

I had to use Google. Search for what you want, but add "site:arcgames.com" at the end of the search. They really need to revamp that site since it's so hard to use, and takes forever to load.

They should implement proper 301 redirects from old URLs to new URLs. In this case:
    - users coming from Google would instantly redirected to the new URL
    - Google would quickly change the results to the new one.

But alas, it's not likely to happen. Oh wells.
