Hello,..
i think its time for some new PvP Maps..
For Exemple:
1.
A Map for Premades,.. you can allways join it, if you 4 and more Players.. you dossent have, they will be not going.
So we have no problems with Pugmade vs Premade.. that will be fine.
2.
A Map with two Starbases,.. if you lose the base, you lose the Match.
That also would be nice.
3. A Map with a big nebular who sensors not really going,.. ( remember Star Trek 2 ) this would be nice also.
Maybe you have your own Ideers.. tell me what do you think about it.
greetings

What is the criteria of a premade, a team of 4 or more of different fleets or the same fleet. Some fleets that PvP do not field a "Premade" PvP team they PuG within their own fleet with no specific builds.?
2. There used to ba similar map way back called Assault and was removed around season 4 or 5 during a PvP revamp, itonic.
3. YOu are not he first to bring up a Mutara Nebula type map.
4. Devs really do not care about PvP so.....
Its easier to just copy paste Arena to Shuttle and adjust some variables to only allow shuttles
#2's actually a game type, not a map.
#3's a map with frosting...in the eye.
#3 made me laugh the most thinking about it. Can see the thread now. "45 frikkin' minute matches! cause nobody could find anybody..."
I'll say what I tend to say...
RvB the queues, split the queues, add multiple types to the Scenarios (there are a bunch of scenario type play that we do not see that could fall under Scenarios), and add a bunch of maps for Arena. One could even say you could have different subtypes of Arenas.
Course, all of that would require a game with some semblance of balanced PvP...so uh, some other game.
hiding behind the rocks in cracked planetoid / getting gdf off the gas clouds in briar is definitely a part of my pvp memory. laggin otu in solar wind ofc
Yeah, the map guys/environmental artists - could have some fun with maps there...
I actually stopped shooting a guy because he pulled a hilarious evasive maneuver through one of the donut asteroids in Briar Patch. He was diving and dipping through the space rocks like a champ.. I really had to applaud the effort.
