Chat system and switching channels

It's pretty cumbersome to type into a channel, and change it every time, if you have conversations going in few channels at the same time.

Wouldn't it be possible to click on a message and automatically switch to that channel ?

Another thing ... channel colors.

It escapes me why they are personalized to each character and why would somebody want to have different colors for same channel.

Again, wouldn't it be possible to at least have the option to choose colors account wide ?

you can save the colors.
Set you colors on one Char, press ESC, go to Hud and save the UI.
Open you other Char(s), press ESC, Hud and load UI.

It also saves colors. At least it used to ....

Use the chat tabs. The channel you are currently typing in is remembered on a per-tab basis so you can have multiple conversations going without needing to manually change the channel every time you want to type something, or without having to type /channelname message to switch to a channel.


I do agree that it's strange that colors are remembered on a per character basis but patientnr0's method will allow you to clone colors to all characters.
