Universal Console idea (that will never happen)

Sooo I was thinking a fun console to have would be the based on the Phase Cloak device from the USS Pegasus. We could do away with the invisibility portion, and just allow you to pass through ships and solid objects, like asteroids. It would be useful for, say, passing through a Borg ship while Ejecting Warp Plasma instead of having to go around it, or hiding inside a ship port in Azure Nebula Rescue.

Though it'd probably involve some complicated coding and I doubt many people would actually use it. Still, just a fun idea I had.

    ...and why do we need more universal consoles?
    My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    The transphasic effect will be applied to your ship, but not to your weapons / powers, so theorically you will not be allowed anyways to use eject war plasma , weapons or other things while you are "inside" the borg cube. And since in STO you cant "crush" with any object, it makes no sense at all.

    Run Breach elite, sit between the conduits around the sub-core as they close and then tell me again that STO can't crush you.

    This. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have the device when there is a Scimitar-blockade idling and clogging up space around a starbase.

    Ironically, I don't use it in combat very often.
