Increased ship slot limit?

Back in dev blog 35,

We were told there would also be an increase in our ship slot limit with the season 8.5 release.

Is this going to happen? Or is it still just something we have to buy? :confused:

    The limit was increased you get the slots from the c store as normal.

    You don't get more slots for free, you still have to buy them from the store. Now, you can just buy more of them than you could before.

    No "going to," it already happened. And it's "still" something you have to buy, as was planned all along and explained at its release.
