Hirogen Consoles Need Improvement

They are somewhat useful in practice but the damage and defense bonus from the Escort's console is horribly small even with the set bonus (And what a wasted set bonus I might add.)

Bump the consoles stats from 10% to 15% or with the set bonus 20% to 30% AND/ OR extend the amount of time the bonuses last. 8 seconds is pretty dang lousy for any kind of buff (Unless its a God-Mode buff like RSP.)

The damage from the exploding decoys is absolutely abysmal and definitely ignorable in any form of content. it should do 10K damage to any target within 2 KM and 5-7 K to any target within 5 KM.

Aside from this the other effects of the consoles work well, the Decoy's distract your enemies and the other one turns your ship around very quickly.

    Speaking of Buff can the Apex get a Hangar Bay?? A ship that big should have one. Every other ship in game has a Hangar Bay?? I put the Scorpion fighter device on it but the 10 min cool down is weak. Let the Flames begin... LOL

    I could get behind this... The Apex has Abysmal stats for a Lockbox/ Lobi ship.

    I suggested a 5 ENG and 4 TAC console setup which would be the first of its kind.

    Its like they were trying to build an amazing tank but add just enough Tactical ability to gimp its tanking ability and be completely useless as a Tactical cruiser thanks to only 3 TAC consoles... Not to mention an abysmal 6 turn rate, and the fact that they were the most belligerent race seen on screen and yet were given such mediocre treatment in-game.

    But I digress since that's no exactly the point of this thread.

    And BTW I would KILL for access to Hirogen escort frigate pets...

    Come to think of it... That's an excellent way for them to get people to buy both ships! Much like the JHAS pets for the JHDC... They could continue that trend for future lockbox ships so that people who aren't OCD have a reason to acquire both ships.

    Bam! There it is. I knew something was missing. Just hope Cryptic remembers not to give the pets Subnucleonic beams. XD. It's like they're trying to TRIBBLE PVP over, but that's a story for another thread.

    The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

    Agreed. Any kinda of luv for the Hirogens would be nice. When the Hirogens arrive they should be feared like a Predator! LOL

    The difference between pvp doOOOOOoooOOOooOOooOOom and and pve doOoOoOooOooOoOooOom is that pvp doom has already happened months back and pvpers are pretty much stuck on the "biblical Left behind after the rapture meets hockey mask wearing techno music loving cannibals in the desert" level and pve dooOoom is still up to 2 years off.

    You know, I've glossed over that ship a hundred times when window shopping for battlecruisers and never noticed that.

    I might hold off for a minute... The stats of the Bortasqu may look good on paper but it is widely known to be one of the worst ships in-game. Klingons do battle-cruisers and that monstrosity just doesn't fit the bill.
