Thanks for playing. It may seem obvious, but this game would not exist today if it weren't for you dedicated lot.
So thanks.
You say it enough through open and honest communication, the willingness to treat your customers as human beings and fellow gamers. You say it through compromises made, mistakes corrected, and faults admitted, and the company devoting its priorities to things we ask for, hard work and dedication, and the willingness to keep working no matter how much the forums are in flames.
By doing all those things, I see more gratitude from the devs than any promo item or my $5 in zen a month from being a lifer.
Thank you tacofangs for being you. During my time here I've not come across a post of yours that isn't straightforward, educational and/or entertaining.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.

What arrant nonsense. Everyone knows the world is a disc supported on the back of four titanic elephants, who in turn ride the back of Great A'Tuin the World Turtle!
...talking to players is like being a mall Santa. Everyone immediately wants to tell you all of the things they want, and you are absolutely powerless to deliver 99% of them.

I'm totally new to the game, and even newer to the forum, but it's gonna be stuff like this that keeps me playing until the last server dies.
I like how many options there are in this game so far for non-subscribing, non-paying players. It's not like you're completely limited to the worst ships or the worst weapons, my first new ship I got for free for getting to level 10, and I actually got a decent selection for that level!
And I'd like to thank the devs and designers and whatnot for the sheer attention to detail. While I'd say there are a few irksome points as far as small details go (like Vulcan only being a few ly away? I thought it was in the 40 Eridani system, 16.5 ly from here! Oh well, it's fine as it is!), the other little details thrown into the game just make it such an endearing game to a pretty hardcore Trekkie like myself. I appreciated getting to sit in Sisko's chair, for sure!
You guys just keep this thing running, and I'll just keep playing it.

So through the past few years, there's been ups. There's been downs. But really, it all comes down to this. The game, right when I log in hits me with that Trek music. That thrill never goes away.
There's usually something in the game where if I squint just right I can envision myself being part of an actual Star Trek episode.
Works for me.
So right back at you guys and gals with the word Thanks.

HA!
I never knew those Hillbilly Shows really existed
Boy, I should have been born on your continent.
Here's to a long and prosperous future for Star Trek Online!
Also, Tacofangs, thank you for showing your humanity from time to time; it's nice to know the devs aren't all robots....
Not very much.
I bet Cryptic must fight a war for everything they want to change in the game, and it must be liked by CBS.
It has to pass muster with PWE, too, and PWE is only interested in ripping off the players.
Damn good job by the devs getting the 3-pack down to 4000 Zen, by the way. Not as good a value as the Scimitar, but IMHO worth it.
Also, Manfred: You want to take me on? I love the devs more than you do. In any contest for a dev's hand, I shall prevail!
Indirect communication
Oh and are you always in this mood? Maybe you should stop playing this game if you are that pissed on people.
I have tacos and smirks number. And through Smirk I have access to Brandon..

That you are still on the board and and beeing angry at the world because the game is not what you want it to be.

Now be a peach, and pull that stick out of your bum.
