This is a build I'm considering and figured i'd ask for a little feed back way before I start to save up the Dilithium and Voth marks and such to start to grind it out..
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=incepteris_0
The 2 Science slotted Proton Particle Stabalizer consoles are supposed to represent the Proton Destabalizer module, and the Shield Destabalizer Module. As I do have the secondary Deflector to have the 3 peice set bonus for the extra boosts.
The entire premis of the build is proton damage. The engineering console is there to give a little extra resist and defense as well as some proton resist its self.
I have the Torpedo because I wanted to have the ability to give the Experimental Proton beam both a Beam overload and ability to go with Cannon rapid fire.
I have Photonic shockwave for the inital decloak stun + doff package, or to knock people out of some console abilities with Scramble in the optional Comander Sci slot for S*G and the occational irritant. Not sure if I can get the doff for that how ever. Though I am considering useing it with Grav well 3 with Doff instead since that might be eaiser to aquire.
The Aux to bat is mostly in there as a thought. And this character i'im building for already has the ability to run it. Just not sure if I want to go with it or not.
That's the Idea for the build, so comments/critique are welcomed.
You think that your beta test was bad?

I have used something similer on a T'varo and it worked quite well.
I also tested something very close to the build you posed on Tribble when I was testing the ships.
Seems pretty solid. The consoles + Dyson polarons worked well enough against NPCs... really ddn't get a good test in on Players. Can't see them being any worse then anything else.
Does the Dyson Polaron Proc make it worth giving up the sheer power of the Spire consoles... I don't know. I honestly tend to think they don't. However that ship if it is played well can be a monster.
I think your build is sound... it will really come down to you. Its as a higher skill ship. Knowing you I think you can pull that build off sure.
I was flip flopping myself on that ship wondering about the grav torp.. is it better to run the torp and forget the overload with a spread or just throw it on in back like you did.
Honestly it just needs more testing... I would say the build you have looks fun. Right now I think that's the main thing. I know I'm getting sick of chasing the current Meta powered
Best" build. I think the one you have there might be a lot of fun.
I'll have a bit more time to look over it later, but some initial thoughts that jumped out at me.
SS 3 really wants solid aux to be powerful in what it does, but you are draining that with A2B.
I think as a damage focused build with CD reduction, you'd be better off leveraging something like TBR 3 with the pull DOFF, or VM 3 - neither of which want or care about Aux.
You might also consider trying to run this with 1 A2B and 1 RSP as the only skill you really need 2x A2B or is when you have 1 copy of TT.
In this case however, you have 2 copies of TT so you have full coverage regardless.
All your other cycles should be manageable with just one A2B so you might want to give that a try.
What I believe you're missing is a flow capacitor oriented science console boost rather than particle generator, your universal seat ought to be used for science instead, your science powers likely ought to be switched around to those that'd work with your secondary deflector (Energy Siphon, Tyken, Tachyon Beam, etc...). Using those powers in synergy with the secndary deflector will spare you from needing much in the way of shield heals.
Lastly, I don't have a great deal of faith in Auxiliary to Battery and certainly wouldn't devote 1 of 2 engineering powers at my disposal for it. Auxiliary to Structural would sound to me like the superior synergetic choice.
That says No. They were there just to represent the other consoles from the 3 piece build until the build site brings the consoles in.
antoniosalieri/qaw, Yeah the fun is supposed to be there. At least I hope so. Still have a lot of grinding to go. I don't even have the fleet Singularity yet. Might be some small time before this char gets that.
ussultimatum & umaeko you both make very valid points about aux to bat. It was just a starting point Idea. Not really ment to be the major point of the build that I'm revolving around and was an Idea.. I do like the idea of focusing maybe more on what the secondary deflector can do..And Aux to Structural might work..Not sure yet. More expensive doffs needed that I don't have fund for yet in game.
Definitely good advice so far.. keep it coming if you've got it. Giving me A LOT to think about.

I was keeping this little bit of knowledge to myself to encourage people to read what the heck they put on their ships instead of always going for PEW PEW boats with the usual load of sci skills.
Also I don't think you can afford to not run 2x neuts, ship is so squishy.
Though again the Primary Focus of the Build is to utilize the amount of Proton Damage this ship can produce since it can have the most amount of Proton damage sources, from it's DHC Proton Cannons, to the set bonus for the Proton Barrage, and the Shield inversion Projector and of course the Proton Destabilizer. Add in the Proton damage from the Proton Polaron DHC's, Turrets,.. After that though is where I'm mostly stuck.. I have a general Idea on how to build the escort side of it.. but still debating the Science parts. I do like the Idea of maybe using VM 3 with the Solane Secondary Deflector for the Shield Drain/heal.. Maybe even adding in Energy siphon 2.. But I'm also wondering if I should use Photonic Shockwave and Grav well with the Science consoles that have the chance to pump out more Proton damage.. That's where I'm really stuck at.. Also not sure if I should in fact buff the Flow capacitors.. with how much resistance there IS to drain.. or go with Particle Gen to buff damages...
And then there's my skill points.. not sure how I'll wind up redistributing those..
Oh and I figure I should also mention this character is a Reman Tac.. So my Decloak Alpha strike buff will last for quite some time (23 seconds).
