How do I get ventrilo to work with Arc

Hello I need a bit of help my fleet uses Ventrilo to talk, but when I run the game through arc I have to minimize the game to talk on arc, any ideas how to get around this so I don't have to minimize the game to talk on Ventrilo ty for any help

Not sure with Vent, but some games requite my Teamspeak to be loaded as an Admin account so push to talk works in full screen games.
Can try that.
Try right mouse click on Ventrilo icon and selecting 'Run as Administrator' when you launch Ventrilo
I cant see how minimising sto would make any difference, the only thing I can think of is when you run sto through arc certain keypresses are set to call arc from within sto and maybe there is a clash there if you use push key to talk.
if you do use push key to talk I would try using a different hot key to use Ventrilo, I haven't used Ventrilo myself but if it is a half decent program there should be a way of setting what key you use for the talk key.
the only other way is to try using a permanently open mic function if Ventrilo has one and see if that works, the software I use has a function that will activate the mic whenever you start talking.
your last resort if Ventrilo will just not work when you use arc is to try different chat software,
you can remind your fleet mates that as arc seems to be a certainty as the only way to run sto soon you would be best off finding chat software that is unaffected by it sooner rather then later.

Was having issues until I did this (best way is to set the options for the Ventrilo shortcut to always run as administrator)
Also, you have to make sure that you have a talk "Hot key" assigned that isn't already being used by STO, to avoid obvious clashes ... If you have a mouse with extra buttons, you can assign one of those as the "Push to talk" button.
