Looking for a fleet

Hello all,
I'm relatively new to the mmorpg world so I confess I don't know much about guilds or fleets, and I know nothing about how they work within STO; however, I've been soloing since I started and I think it'd be fun to belong to a larger community. My main character is a lvl 46 science-type, and I also recently started a Romulan (federation alligned) engineer character. If a fleet had both romulan and federation factions I'd prefer that. What else am I looking for?
[*]Doesn't mind casual players (I play anywhere from as little as 5 to as much as 20 hours a week)
[*]Minimal or no requirements in terms of time, participation, etc (I'm a teacher so some weeks are good, some weeks are not)
[*]Really mean it when they say "Real life is a priority"
[*]Awesome community full of fun, generally tolerant people
[*]Reasonably well-established (I don't want to join something that's going to disappear or that's relying on members to put in a lot of work to keep it afloat
[*]But has room for people to grow within the community if they want to
[*]Patience for newbies to the fleet system
[*]No requirements for canon uniforms. I do fly only fed ships on my fed character and romulan ships on my romulan character, but I like messing around with the uniforms and equipment. I don't mind if other people like to play that way, but I'm not going to enjoy it as much if I have to "fall in line"

In terms of geographics/demographics, in case there are any themed fleets - I'm a woman in my late 20s, work as a teacher (science), and live in Massachusetts.

I hope I'm not being too picky. I think I have a lot to offer a fleet (or will once I figure out how it works) and I'm very much into community and cooperation. There's also the potential that my bro-in-law could be coerced into joining a new fleet as his is defunct, and he's much more experienced than I am, so if there's lots of room that would be appreciated!

    Thanks!!

Good afternoon. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. We are a small but great fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but that’s part of what makes us great.

Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game and in some cases RL. We have a fleet TeamSpeak3 server that we use for voice chat not just in-game but also to hang out as well and get to know each other better (not required, just available). Many of us are located on the East Coast and Midwest (USA), Canada, England and we recently re-established our Australian branch. :D

Although I say our fleet is dedicated, we also realize that everyone has lives as well, so when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about losing your position within the fleet due to RL too. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand that sometimes real life issues and problems can take time to resolve, and that some time is needed to sort things out.

So please, think about joining and moving with us into 2410 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch. Our Starbase is well into Tier 4 and we have started making inroads into advancing towards a Tier 2 Spire. Our Embassy and Mine are fully complete. We also provide many commodities to all for donation to the projects.

      The Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet

      Live Long and Prosper!

If you would like additional information on the [VKF] please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of our members.

      Hi;

If you are still looking for a small casual fleet, with no requirements and opportunity to grow, please consider joining our ranks. Our fleet is a very small but active fleet. Our number one rule is "No Drama" and you can be involved in any way you see fit. There is no requirements to join and all stores are open to all ranks. If you are looking for a fleet, but do not want to deal with all the politics and drama of larger fleets, please consider joining us.

Feel free to send a message or PM with any questions to @RBatalla. Thanks

If you are over 30 years young we may be the fleet for you. We are not "new" but we a social fleet.
      • Doesn't mind casual players (I play anywhere from as little as 5 to as much as 20 hours a week)
We have a good mix. Most of our more active players are (i guess) semi-casual but I myself am only on about the same as you are.
      • Minimal or no requirements in terms of time, participation, etc (I'm a teacher so some weeks are good, some weeks are not)
No requirements. We only have a minimum donation requirement to buy from the fleet store buy from the fleet store but that is all.
      • Really mean it when they say "Real life is a priority"
We are all in our 30's, 40's and beyond so our "Real life is a priority" is number one. That is why we started this fleet after launch. So we could bail on a mission to change a diaper or two ;)
      • Awesome community full of fun, generally tolerant people
Yes that is us, social first ask questions later
      • Reasonably well-established (I don't want to join something that's going to disappear or that's relying on members to put in a lot of work to keep it afloat
We have been and always be a fleet ;)
      • But has room for people to grow within the community if they want to
Lots of room for activities, new activities and new leaders
      • Patience for newbies to the fleet system
We get a lot of new people to the game or old members that have come back. We can help.
      • No requirements for canon uniforms. I do fly only fed ships on my fed character and romulan ships on my romulan character, but I like messing around with the uniforms and equipment. I don't mind if other people like to play that way, but I'm not going to enjoy it as much if I have to "fall in line"
No requirement for anything. We call ourselves TOS veterans because most of us were introduced to ST during those years. We do not force people to have uniforms/ships.

Check out our website at tosfleet.com or click on my signature block... Or check our STO recruitment page.

All the best finding a new home.

I'll keep this pretty short and say if you have the time to check out Starfleet Task Force 1. If it seems like the sort of fleet your looking for you are more than welcome to join. Our Fleet is completely casual and even state it on our Home page that we understand that real life will always come first. "Starfleet Task Force 1 operates in a “no pressure” environment; it is our goal that Fleet Personnel have fun playing Star Trek Online first and foremost. Starfleet Task Force 1 completely understands that the real-world comes first." If you have any questions i'm more than happy to answer. We have people from all over, US, Canada, England, Ireland etc. They are a great bunch and extremely helpful. The Fleet is about 9 months old and we do have a dedicated Mumble Voice Server available to all members if they want to use it. We also have a KDF Fleet, The House of Martok. I have also included links to our recruitment threads here in the STO Forums if you would like to check those out. Some members have left replies there after joining. Anyway, hope to hear back from you and if you want to catch me in game i'm at Winters@winters83 or Mar'tok@winters83

Greetings, we are Liberty Task Force (Fed) and Liberty Honor Guard (KDF) at www.libertytaskforce.com and I'd like to extend an invitation to our fleet. We first began on April 28th, 2013 and we have already reached Tier V Shipyard and Communications Array on our Fed side. Our KDF is Tier III. We boast a very active website and also use TeamSpeak 3. We have members from all over the world and there is always someone on to game with.

We are an 18+ age fleet and registration through our website is required to join, we are very community based. We do ask that are members remain active and log into the game at least once every 60 days (120 days for certain ranks). Access to all fleet stores open at only 100,000 total contributions. We are fun, casual gamers with a set structure in place. We do many in-game activities and also do PvP with allied fleets.

Feel free to visit our site and look around. If you have any questions e-mail me at Info@LibertyTaskForce.com or friend me in-game at Grayfox@GrayfoxJames take care and see you in space!

      Best Regards,
