TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - February 19, 2014

We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.36.20140207a.6

General:
  • Caitian and Ferasan tails now appear when wearing the Voth Armor costume.
  • Removed the option for no fur on the female Caitian chest while wearing the Dyson Jacket.
    • This option should not have been available.
  • Advanced Metaphasic Shielding:
    • Added a line to the ability's long description, stating that it shares a cooldown timer with Reverse Shield Polarity.
  • Dyson Sphere boots are now correctly in the "tight" category for boots.

Known Issue:
  • KDF captains cannot switch to all costume slots.
  • There is no error explaining that loadouts and quick equip will not work if the captain’s inventory is full.
  • Powers granted by a space set are not remembered in the power tray when using the loadouts feature.

    Might as well delete that. We know that never getting fix. Just like the honor guard outfit unlock bugs that over a year old that yet to get fix. It seem pretty clear KDF bugs are not important.

    On the subject of caitian tails... is there going to be a fix to hide the tail when wearing an ev suit? Doesn't make sense my tail is flailing around over the sun in space when wearing the Dyson EV suit.

    After months, possibly YEARS of requests, Cryptic has finally started putting persistent known issues on patch notes (which was an issue b/c people kept asking questions about "known issues" suddenly disappearing without being fixed). Now you want to undo that?

    Well I'd rather have an exposed tail than none at all as it used to be with EV suits, I'd rather just think it's one heck of a tough tail =^.^=, or better yet, give us protection for the tails included with suit visuals like the Kzinti had with theirs.

    Yes, just add armor tail segments, problem solved.

    Just like many bugs. I don't remember any "help us to find the issue" post, but I may have missed it (no sarcasms).
    I'm pretty sure if it was "FED captains cannot switch to all costume slots.", that would have not been in the known issue, and fixed right away.

    We can only hope the bug will affect FEDs, we will have a patch that way.

    Just as a correction, you forget to mention that Romulan characters (as a faction, not species) also have pieces missing, a lot of them. I've even hear of some Fed aligned characters are having issues as well. But the tailor is so ridden with bugs at the moment they've got their work cut out fixing it, and the new content bugs haven't exactly helped.

    I'm being optimistic that they will eventually be fixed, especially as more fixes seem to be finding their way into the notes as of late.

    That's the simplest and best and most logical solution. Each armor and any others from here on out should have a matching armored tail section. It doesn't even have to be complex, you can use the coil design from a metal shower massager hose, it's not confusing.

    Kdf costume slots why am i even posting about it there not doing any thing to fix it like 90% of kdf bugs

    Maybe because for most Caitians shaved women are as ugly and weird than bearded women for us ? Who knows ?

    congrats cryptic.. you have kept this item on your list for the longest time and achieved the new record for oldest acknowledged bug! Glad the fed female cats can now change their fur, but KDF have costume issues now for a record number of patch notes!
