Can't start Dyson sphere mission series?

So, this may be a stupid question, but I can't seem to find out how to start with the Dyson Sphere mission series. Yes, I'm level 50. Do I need to finish some other mission(s) before I can start on these?

Have you done "Sphere of Influence" first? If not, try doing that, then go to the Dyson Sphere.

Go to Missions -> Episodes -> Solanae -> Sphere of Influence. If that is grayed out, check your previous mission progress and select skip for all the missions you haven't done yet up to Sphere of Influence. Don't worry about missing out on anything, as you can always replay an episode.

I had completed missions up to Cardassian space, so I had to do the report to DS9 (Deep Space 9) mission. Then I skipped all the missions to the Borg Collective, and again had to complete 'Report to Gamma Orionis' mission, then I was finally able to skip the rest of the missions all the way to 'Sphere of Influence'.

Why would you skip all the missions?

I'm making my way through them on my Rom alt using the Advaced Dyson Destroyer.

Other than the boring, send me a letter, too much talking bits it's been quite fun.

I'll get there soon enough and it's fun to redo those missions in order instead of when they came out.

As long as you've received the mission at least once from 'Q' you can simply use the "Mission Replay" option to do the SBtS mission as many times as you need (like getting the sexy Solonae Sentinel Environmental Suit) ... It has the normal 30min cooldown but that's it.
