Steam...Arc?? My launcher works fine...

I'm not sure I understand all the hubbub around these companies....

Do I have to use either one? I still have the Perfect World launcher and it seems to work fine....is it to be dropped or something?

    "Arc" isn't a company, it's Perfect World's mainlauncher now for all their products. AS of now it just launches through the old Launcher (which is still used)..... Whether this changes in the future will be up to PWE/Cryptic

    In the future, all titles under PWE will no longer support their respective stand-alone launchers. In this case you would need to start using either Arc or Steam to launch STO. Personally I already use Steam since I already use it for other titles, not to mention the STO packages I've obtained through Steam such as the Steamrunner escort.
