TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - February 12, 2014

We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.36.20140123a.19

General:
Server stability updates.

Known Issues:
  • KDF captains cannot switch to all costume slots.
  • There is no error explaining that loadouts and quick equip will not work if the captain's inventory is full.
  • Dismissed duty officers which are saved in a loadout will be replaced by a random duty officer in your inventory.
  • Powers granted by a space set are not remembered in the power tray when using the loadouts feature.

    That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

    I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

    is it just me or does it not seem strange that they still put known issue's when it is just server work ?

    ps : solanae being fixed when please , any info would be great ;)

    I sure hope it fills the slot with a random bound duty officer or this just became REALLY dangerous to use.

    If you dismiss a doff that was in a loadout and it replaces it with a random doff that then binds... I can see the tickets put in now.

    That one guy said awhile back to watch for fix for the costumes and stuff been watching but haven't seen nothing. I am just accepting its probally never gonna get fixed.

    The bug is a bit mis-described. It works more like this: Doff A is slotted in Slot 1. Doff B supposed to be in slot 1 in Loadout 1. But Doff B got dismissed. You load Loadout 1. The loadout cannot find Doff B. Doff A remains in Slot 1.

    Thats much better, thanks for the clarification.

    Its not really random then. It just does not change what you have loaded if it can't find the loadout doff. Which makes sense.

    then how's that a "bug" / known issue?

    "sounds" like it's working.... has nothing to be changed with... so it doesn't change.

    unless i'm missing something... I'll go look at it myself, sometime today...

    Yeah, that seems to be fine. The same happens when the Doff supposed to be put into active duty works on an assignement. I don't see how that's a bug. :confused: Unless there's no error message.

    I'll try it live and see ...

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
