I also like to welcome the crypticquack :) It's nice to have one or two ship designers in the forum to take feedback.

I think the Hirogen ships are great (although I personally don't understand why they are playable in the first place, but that's not flak directed at the ship designers :D). As far as reworking older models goes, I really would appreciate an overhaul of the Exploration Cruiser (Galaxy) to bring it more in line with canon, maybe even adding the "USS Venture" refit type nacelles. But the original model and the 25th century Venture-Type refit alike need a rework of their weapon hardpoints. The Ambassador Class is great in that regard, if I'm not mistaken she fires front beams from different arrays on the saucer AND aft beams from the saucer as well and sometimes from the auxilliary arrays at the secondary hull - that's how it's supposed to be. The Galaxy variants, however, use the same front weapon hardpoint for almost any weapon and aft weapons are fired from the aft torpedo launcher, causing beams to clip through the hull and everything.

The Venture-Type is a beautiful skin and the Galaxy needs more love as well. I'd be a happy Targ if this ship gets scheduled for an overhaul at some point.

The crew compliment surprised me too, but in all fairness, there's nothing to say it couldn't have a crew of 200. A Type 45 Destroyer's in the 200 people ball park, and that's no larger. In fact, considerably smaller.
