Borg's recuiting problem...

Everyone here done a into the hive space elite thing?

I'm sure we've all heard "We are the borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."

They should try: "We are the borg. All new recruits get a unimatrix lance." They're have people lining up around the block to get assimilated.

    People would still whine about not having the invisitorp, and soon the Collective would collapse under the sheer weight of the self-entitlement.

    It's already collapsed. I guess my theory was lost to the ages.

    At the end of Star Trek: Voyager, Janeway didn't infect the queen with a virus. She gave the entire collective a free life-time MMO subscription. Fast forward a few hundred years to the "present", and they got banned for boting and sharing accounts!

    The real reason they've returned is to take back their accounts by force!

    The reason cubes aren't taken out fleets by them selves this time (instead of losing cubes in fleets to single ships) is because ,sadly, too much of the collective found out about the YouTube archives. The collective is too busy surfing to defend it's self. ;)

    Edit: Just image what Gene Roddenberry would have done if the internet was around in the late 60s!

    I am reminded of that thread where we considered uploading Angry Birds to the Borg collective.
