"Self Destructive Tendencies"

So far I don't think I've been in any instance of the Self Destructive Tendencies queue mission that have succeeded. We always see the core get overrun by the Tholians.

I'd be really interested to see the stats on how frequently that mission is a success versus a failure; I'd imagine it's pretty low!

Anyone else find this mission a bit *too* tough for the reward?

Before they moved it to the Queue system, we beat it all the time. If you didn't have a pre-made 5 man team that knew how to do it, you had the advantage of having a ton of people in the run killing everything while they waited for their turn.

But because the fight has steep learning curve, 90% of the people that use the queue system never bother to learn it, and those that know have given up playing it because of the frustration of failing it.

Frankly, Nukara needs to be Revamped back to how it was pre-tholian rep. It needs to go back to working like defra does.

Its not hard to beat with a decent team. Its certainly too hard for most of the players that queue for it.

All of the consoles are able to clear most of their spawn, with the exception of the holodeck/plasma corner which requires two people with guns. If people stay at their console and work their zone, its a straight play. Most of the players dont do it, and that's the problem with it.

I dont know if it can be dumbed down too much without being a snooze.

I've never beaten it, but then I never see anyone except for me stay by the core and use the consoles. Everyone else just rushes forward and tries to shoot the Tholians all on their own. It doesn't seem to be that hard of an instance, just that no one seems interested in a little bit of tactical positioning/console use. /shrug
