Bulk Mark Conversion....Again...

With the fantastic Dilithium Bonus Weekend lots of people are taking advantage and converting marks/bnp/vci etc....Awesome, that said....

The tedious nature of converting 50 marks at a time is simply brutal on actual playing time.

Please either add a Bulk mark conversion mission, (say 500) to the Reputation mission screens, or Npc contact to alleviate the need to play slide bar jokey over and over.

    i made this suggestion before and someone pulled the suck it up speech hmm looks like im not the only one but hey thats just my opinion i don't see any harm in this feature it would do some good on those grounds i think this feature would be worth considering thank you have a nice day and thank you im glad someone else agrees with me

    how can you convert marks to dil ? or it was meaned fleet credits ? bnp/vci ? what is this ? and to what do you convert it ?

    Yes it is a pain. It would take 50 min of constant clicking to convert 10,000 omega marks to dil. It's a pity they haven't revamped the old reps to be like the Dyson one yet, because then you could convert from marks to commendations to dil. Better yet there shouldn't even be a time/amount limit for mark conversions, it's an unnecessary time sink that feels like a punishment at endgame for actually playing the game and earning rewards.

    What are you guys on about??? ...I've just started the "Level 50 Grindathon" and I'm desperate for Rep Marks, but more importantly Fleet Credits.

    Dil I can get easily from Dailies, DoFF missions and STF's, or even just buy Z and convert it, and Fleet Marks I can get from STF's, albeit slowly, but what is this 'conversion' your talking about???

    The upgrade slot in your rep window, there are "projects" in there for trading in marks/BNP/VCI for dil.
    Get the Forums Enhancement Extension!

    i spent at least 2 hours doing just this yesterday. if ther was a convert all project for each rep, it would have taken 2 minutes

    Yeah this needs to be implemented asap, Remember doing it on a old char I was scrapping since I started up a new one, trying to convert over 8000 omega marks -.- I literally had to set aside at least 20 mins of a day to do nothing but sit there and click ...and It still took days to finally get through.

    Honestly a 500 mark option shouldn't really be that hard to implement, its basically just trading in 10X the amount for 10X the reward -.-

    This is very much needed. Converting over 15,000 Omega marks into dilithium a few weeks ago was a pain.

    How to turn your Marks into Dilithium (Unrefined Dilithium) -- see above linked pic for more info

    1 - Open up your "Character Status" window (left button on the minimap)

    2 - Click the "Reputation" tab

    3 - Choose which ever Reputation you have Marks in (in this case Omega Marks in my Task Force Omega reputation)

    4 - On the RIGHT bottom of the Task Force Omega reputation , click on the Upgrades Available tab .

    5 - On the LEFT bottom of the Task Force Omega reputation , scroll down until you hit "Ongoing War Efforts" , and click Select .

    6 - In the Upgrades Available tab (right , bottom) , you should now have a mission . Do it . Get 50% more Dill for your Marks on this weekend .

    p.s. - You can also turn in 5 Borg Neural Processors for 1500 Dil , from the same place you get this missio. That mission is called "Elite Special Task Force Completion" .
    (I'm not sure but it may be only available for toons that have completed the Borg Reputation)

    I agree there should be a better way, I don't mind the fact that the points handed in must be in integrals of 50 but it would be nice if we could convert them in bulk.
    this business of select project, feed in marks, wait for timer, claim prize. is all very good for small amounts like say 200 or so but one of my characters has over 8000 rom marks so I will have to do this over 160 times.
    its all very tedious.

    love the fact that we are getting 50% bonus though.
    and to think there are people who are against the change in when bonuses are earned, by the time this weekend is over I will have earned over 500k of dil over 3 toons :)
    no having to look at the calendar to see what hour the event is on, no getting out of bed at 2am just so I can catch the bonus, its awesome!

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    this also works for voth cybernetic implants in dyson rep via the project - provide cybernetic implant samples to dyson joint command.
    3 cybernetic implants = 1500 dil during the 50% bonus

    While I would love that, I think Cryptic don't want to. They don't want the mark->dil conversion to be an easy thing. They are very touchy when it comes to the dil per time invested ratio.
