Okay I'm starting a thread here about a feature request. I can find no specific forum (for clicky or ship feature requests) heading that would warrant moving this thread but I know forum moderators, they love to change things. (hah McCoy quote
Can we get ingame clicky holo emitters for actual Federation ships such as Enterprise A and many other variants?
These are currently sold on DS9 and purchased with latinum. The current ones have expiration timers. And the ships that are offered are very limited.
Maybe you could sell perma clicky toggle on/off ones for real $$$? This could solve a lot of problems of people wanting real cannon ships and CBS not allowing it.
Please do not say something like 'well the firing arcs would look wrong" as shooting cannons from many escorts is not even perfect by any means. Many times the phaser bursts from certain hulls is too big/small and we deal with it just fine.
This could be a great selling point and you could even use the lost ferengi from the delta quadrant during the voyager series as a sample temporary version reward for players.
I see this as a way for you to make $$$ and for those of us wanting to fly our ships with the visuals we want that you have not been granting.
It may not work on ships that have separation consoles but it's a start at least.
People will still buy the Zen ships that they want and then can simply click the visuals to look like the ships they actually want to fly.
I personally love the new dyson/fed ship but imo it's so damn ugly. Its like a fed ship flew into a giant set of stormtrooper armor. The ships are getting bulkier all the time, they are not getting slimmer or streamlined.

Didn't need to read anything other than that to figure out that this is another T5 Connie thread.
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!
This is an attempt at a solution. And I would gladly buy a Reliant (ST II) and Grissom (ST III) clicky as well. The ships in game are not doable at high levels and this could very well solve it.
CBS said no. stamping your feet and winging on a message board is not going to get them to change their minds any time soon. Nor is trying to come up with a work around.
What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

But he's not wrong really, it's another 'I want old ships at T5' thread, and we've seen these at least weekly for the last four years. It's just not on the cards.
No, it's a solution to the problem. The mechanics are already ingame for this type of device. But the emitters cater to alien spacecraft.
I don't think it's unreasonable to want Fed versions.
