There is, I have noticed a lack of suggestions box. That's a bit odd. So I suppose Feedback will suffice?
My biggest beef with STO has been the lack of customization in my appearance, both the ship and my crew. I don't care about stats as much as "what does it look like"?
Meaning, I have a Scimitar ship, and while I have the Borg set on it, it looks the way I want it to appear. However, later, a new shiny console will arrive or I'll want to change out what I am using. I'll no longer appear the way I want to look.
Yes, I turn off the graphics for any new things. But having spent the time, energy and frankly money to build up my appearance I would greatly appreciate a way to retain the appearance I wanted. All I am asking for, at the very least, is an appearance tab which would allow me to use the appearance of equipment whether it is currently equipped or not.
At best I would like to just choose from any item I've ever put into that slot.
As a great middle ground, allow me to pay (perhaps in dilithium?) a fee to have the appearance of my old item overwrite the current item.
It's not rocket science, and many other MMOs take advantage of this feature. The art was already bought, let us keep the look we like.
On a side note, I find it aggravating that as a Lifetime subscriber I am unable to utilize costume pieces that are "limited" to a species. For instance, I cannot make an Alien former Borg, or a Space Monkey because only the Caitians get tails. I'm not even asking for the racial abilities (that's the mechanical side and I understand you're attempting some sort of balance)
