Haggle for GQ commodities cooldown?

Does anyone know what the cooldown timer is for the Haggle for GQ commodities assignments? I suspect it's 4hrs from the time you select the assignment*, but I don't know for certain, and the wiki doesn't provide a firm answer.

* Based on observation last night when I had done Tulaberries in a previous 4hr block, and after the assignments refreshed nothing was available in any of the Cardassian sectors. Then Haggle fo Tulaberries appeared in Alpha Trianguli roughly half-way through that 4hr block.

EDIT Huh, I think it's actually more than 4 hrs. Anyone have any idea?

Mission takes two hours to complete and has a four hour cooldown. So 6 hours total from start to start. Timing data courtesy of the dofftrek spreadsheet by zerobang.

I would have thought the cooldown starts the moment you start the assignment? It does that for most missions, but I guess duty officer assignments are under a different system. Well, answer asked for and given. Thank you.

As an aside, you know what would make a really good QoL improvement to the doff system? If they actually put in the cooldown timer and grey out duty assignments that would otherwise be available if it weren't on timer.

the CD seems to start when the mission is marked completed. It apparently doesn't matter when you collect the rewards.

And yeah visible CDs would be nice.

I'm glad they did it this way, though. If the cooldown were to kick in when starting the mission, there would be no way to cancel and immediately restart it, in case you assigned the wrong doffs for example.
