Can't leave Trade chat

Guys just need some help I joined a custom chat channel named >Trade< and for some reason I can't leave it. Does anyone know how to leave because when I open the chat channels I can see it and when I click the leave option nothing happens, also when I right click on the chat bar I can't see the Trade channel.

    Same thing is happening to me.

    From what I have read, it is not a custom channel, it is a CO channel, and to quit, you can either make a CO account and quit the channel, or probably ask a GM from help. (Not a Genetically Modified.)

    So, I'm able to join in a chat channel of a game I don't even play, and I need to join the game to leave?

    Yep.. I had to go through the same thing. :/ Just download Champs and remove yourself from the channel.

    Yeah, I know. I can't help but wonder if that's accidental, or more in line with P.T. Barnum's "10 cents to see the egress" schtick.

    and just to tell you now, the trade channel in STO is "TheTradingChannel"
