I think you get a different suit for each defense option (beams/swarmers/none.)

Best answer since I got to run it twice. It also forces you to get all 3 defense options accolades.

Really wish they'd add in more EV suit content, a full STF on a derelict Borg cube* that has been space'D, in utter darkness so youre restricted to the suit / Device Flashlights would be so awesome.
I too would be interested in that. A smaller event akin to Colony Invasion would not be unwelcome either. An example setup for the latter: a KDF spook ship (their analogue to the 'prowlers' ONI fields in the Haloverse) has been discovered adrift, having suffered a catastrophic accident of some sort. The players go in to recover the ship's data cores and rescue (KDF)/capture (Starfleet) survivors.

For extra credit, feel free to cue up 'Flight into Space' or 'Space Laser Battle' by the excellent (and late) John Barry while playing.

I posted a similar mission idea a couple months ago, except it was an elachi ship and you were racing the enemy faction's intelligence force to get through the ship and get tech samples before stealing a small craft just as the ship returned to subspace.

The enemy ship on the opposite side of the system would then close and engage the mother ship you were returning to, and you'd join your ship's fighter wing to fight off the enemy ship's fighters while the two carriers duked it out above you, kind of fighting among the feet of giants.

Anyway, this new zero g EV suit mechanic would make exploring the ship a lot cooler, and make for a much more exciting escape or entry.
