What is lacking on STO?

Why we cant have pirates, renegades, traders without affiliation to Feds or Klings, why can't we have illegal traffic of merchandise, like Cuban Cigars or Cuban Rum?

Why cannot we have SB for pirates and illegal merchants?

Just by having these things implemented you can open a whole different universe here in STO

I agree it would be great, but alas,i can't see cryptic changing anything this way. It would be a miracle if they changed it,or even started to listen to players.

Star Citizen is going to be what STO should've been.

I want truly evil paths to take. I want to play a dark and evil character, with consequences for his actions. The choices and options I pick from dialog will be evil, negative dialog choices, and there will be consequences for it down the road when I have dialog with other characters.

This, is what I want. Dialog choices that lead to different paths, rather than funneling into the same result.

    Sound's like you're after a game like SWTOR? ^

lol, star citizen isn't going be similar to STO, STO is casual, star citizen isn't, also star citizen is a thinly veiled wing commander which is QUITE different from ST.

i get that star citizen seems promissing, but this is ridiculous, it reminds me of the constant posting on WoW forums about folks saying how SWTOR would kill WoW, and we all know how that went lol.

Star citizens seems more like a Eve Online lite.

I have a merchant heart and I would love to be able to flight from SB to SB or planet to planet dealing an buying and selling "special" stuff and having a villa in a quiet front beach area staring at the 2 moons of.... ()not saying) :D

Star Citizen is going to be more like EVE than STO.

If you are interested in Star Citizen, check out the EVE free trial.

Need more constant players in KDF...
Aside the cultural people differences in KDF, gotta make way for big big differences between FED and KDF.. for example ACC bonus for FED and Klingon got ATT bonus and such..

Way too little active players (stay on KDF toon play more than 2 to 3 hours a day) over KDF side...

    What is lacking on STO?

Having just done the first of 15 rounds (per character...and I, a former 10-character collector, will be grinding this Anniversary ship on my 3 Sci characters only because of these [redacted] mini-grind-games) of chasing obnoxious little mini-Qs and playing the Mini-Q Shell Game, I'd say what's lacking there is any semblance of fun. :(

Any kind of challenge what so ever. (grind is not challenge, grind is just filler)

End-game is lacking slightly in terms of raids. We need more things like the old Terradome and STF with unique rewards.

I would like the ability to build a farm and grow crops dammit :)

Somewhere with a twin moon and a magnificent sunset.

A place where all my tribbles and epophs can roam free. A place where I can sip my Pina Colada and shoot the breeze with my targ.

At night I would like to strap a saddle on my targ, and roam the mighty prairie LOL.

Throw in a hover-wagon, and I will float off into the sunset, singly "Row, Row, Row a boat"

I will buy all your crops Top Ec for them, (by the way I know farmers like Cuban cigars and I have a load I need to unload before those pesky Klings patrols check my ship)

The use of Q and his darn qmendations is a lazy way out of an easy to solve problem. Use foundry missions several of them, 1 different each day to grind the points I hate qmendation word. (sounds like some nasty porno word)
