As I imagine most of you know, it was commonplace for ships in the TMP era (and some ships in early TNG) to run with their nacelles dark instead of the familiar blue glow.
Now while the Oberth and Excelsior are given the choice between dark or lit nacelles... the Miranda and Connie are stuck with the bright blue, even though they were more often seen with the black nacelles.
So naturally, I propose that these two golden oldies be given the dark nacelle option, a small touch that would add an extra bit of customization to these iconic ships.

The movie-era ships should have the visuals that match the movie era.
