General:
Resolved a series of bugs with the Omega Plasma Torpedo Launcher so it now obeys correct cooldown limitations:
It has 5 charges with no cooldown (other than the Torpedo category cooldown timer of 2 seconds)
Each charge requires 6 seconds to recharge.
This is how the item was always intended to perform.
Resolved an issue where some recharge-reducing powers still appeared to modify the recharge of Tier 5 reputation abilities, even though they did not modify them
Deflector Officers that say they have a chance of reducing cooldowns on all Deflector abilities now can properly affect the cooldowns of Tachyon Beam and Energy Siphon.
Resolved an issue with the Mogh that caused the fleet version to have no windows on its right stanchion after editting it in the tailor
Resolved an issue which was not allowing items to be unequipped unless dragged and dropped back into the inventory.
Ship swapping:
Players can now swap between a large craft and a small craft.
Loadouts
It is no longer possible to give two different loadouts the same name.
The loadout naming and renaming popup window now has better messaging for errors.
Loadouts can now be changed on ground maps.
Hourly events:
Hourly events have been removed.
These will be replaced by weekend events.
Known Issues:
Ship swapping and loadouts are not in their final phase.
Some known issues include:
Cooldown for both ship switching and loadout switching do not have timers.
It?s not easy to tell when a loadout has been changed.
Ship name cannot be renamed while in space.
Some KDF captains cannot switch to all of their costume slots.
#1 - Isn't the torpedo universal cool down 1.5 seconds? (0.5 for weapon launch and 1 for torp cooldown)
#2 - If the charges take 6 seconds to reload, does that mean the torpedo is supposed to fire constantly? Or does the recharge begin after launching the 5th torpedo.

It was originally 6 seconds for each charge to reload and it was always recharging when we had less than 5 charges.
when can we expect the fix for KDF captains that cannot use costume slots THAT WE PAID FOR. This has been an issue for over a month. I would think you should have either fixed it or given some type of compensation because you have our money!
thats good the mogh got a fix. how about the fleet kdf vet ship? it cant use its fleet material. looks like it has something to do with the part of the nacelle that extends, when you mouse over the fleet material that part doesn't update and the material cant be applied
Any fix for the new ship loadout dumping items into inventory upon switching?
Unless swapping a loadout, swapping ships, putting the dumped items onto other ship, and then finally swapping back to the original ship... Is by design?

I love my honorguard stuff but it does get a bit old after 3 months haha.
The individual's rights will be protected only so long as they don't conflict with the state.... nothing is so dangerous to a society.

Actually I couldn't be more pleased. I've been throwing requests to get this fixed, and complaints about it not being fixed Into a lot of posts on a lot of topics for a long time now. Not to mention re-testing it every few months and filing the occasional bug report.
I had genuinely given up hope that it would be fixed. So I would like to thank which ever kind dev is responsible for this fix. You sir or madam are a super star. Thank you very much indeed.
I get paid this Friday, I think I am going to buy a chunk of zen out of appreciation.
Because apparently, some hourly events weren't being played enough, while others were regularly attended. Therefore, the unpopular hourly events are being converted into weekend events so that people will have the time to properly appreciate them, while the popular ones are being limited to dailies so that people cannot overuse them.
Enjoy Metaphasic Weekend, followed by Crafting Weekend, and then Vault Shuttle Weekend. With them as weekend-long events, you're certain not to miss them!
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
Never, DV is working as intended, duh. It's a KDF thing. Why would they ever want to change it back? That would invalidate the entire point of nerfing it in the first place.
Finally I?ve patched again to test the new quick-equip-system.
It is working fine at all but one question left:
I put my secondary equipment into my bank. When I switch the loadout on my ship these items are in my inventory again....
Will it be possible in the future to swap things out of the bank (instead of inventory)?

...or:
will the (primary) items use the slots in the inventory where the secondary items were placed?

Ive actually got a little hope for both issues with the new EP and his heightened focus on outstanding bugs.

Give it a rest. It doesn't make sense anyway.
Because they want to make money off selling cooldown reductions and Rep/Fleet mark boosts from lock boxes.
By this logic, none of the changes you want make sense either.
