End Game Content?

hello all.
i am a new player to STO but hav lvled quickly to 45 already. i hav only played the episode missions to lvl up my char and hav not done any instance / raids and have seen and heard very little about them.
I used to be a World of war craft (WOW) player and enjoyed the end game multi player heroic mode raids (10man).
i am just wondering wat sort of end game content does STO offer?
like instances / raids? how many people required? fleet missions and stuff? is a fleet required for the end game stuff? does free to play limit endgame content? is there a looking for raid feature like wow to get newbies started raiding?
honestly i hav no clue as to the end game content and any help / advice is helpful.

    The end game content is about doing 2-30min 5 man raids repeatedly for marks to level rep.

    PvP is decent, but requires gear to stand a chance

    There is tons for you to do. If you have not yet visited systems in every available sector there are missions to do on or around many of the planets, a good one is on Vulcan. You also have all the PvE's at your disposal, there are daily missions to do. If you go to Eta Eridani, near to Zibel is a freighter in need of help called Sh'mar, there is also another mission to do daily in the same sector, Alhena (not far from Traelus).

    If you look at Star Trek online wiki that will list all available end game content, I won't recommend anything as your style of gameplay could be a whole lot different to mine.

    Most important though that on Thursday is the launch of Season 8.5 where all the Klingon War (for FEDS) have all been revamped and remastered, the main storyline for each mission still remains the same, however the way you play them now will be different, some objectives have been decreased, where others have had more objectives added, the graphics on all the KlingWar episodes that have been revamped, the graphics now are sweet.
