Doesn't the protonic polaron beam array deal polaron damage?

Which means that the only weapon which deals proton damage is the experimental proton weapon?

Protonic Polarons have a chance to deal extra Proton damage on a critical hit.

If you go this route, probably best to use the dyson tac consoles, giving the highest boost to polaron and proton damage possible.
