Mogh Battle Cruiser missing all armor textures. (photo evidence)

I bought a Fleet Mogh Battle Cruiser and none of the armor textures are visible. They show up as solid white.

Pictures also show that the Avenger Battle Cruiser works perfectly. It is fleet as well.

This happens anytime in the game while in combat (as required for the armor to appear) and in trying to fix it i have done the following per BranFlakes suggestions:
-Changed from DX9 to DX11, no change.
-Changed graphics qualities, no change.
-Erased entire game and redownloaded and reinstalled, no change.

I have also tested on tribble, same thing.

I posted about it on the r/sto reddit here (http://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/1uzm0p/my_mogh_is_missing_textures_on_the_armor_is/) and i am not the only one experiencing this.

Avenger is also missing a texture that appears to be part of the fleet/UFP emblem. I have noticed this on other ships as well and it also appears on all 3 of my computers in any possible setting.

    I've now tested this on 3 separate computers and all 3 have the exact same problem so this is not something with just one machine, this is a problem with the actual game itself.

    I've now erased it on one other computer and i'm redownloding it through Arc since all my installations were pre-arc. Though i don't see how that would change anything I'm doing it anyway.

    And i think i found another bug. Comparing my Avenger with another, my fleet/UFP logos are glowing white, similar to the missing textures, where as normal ones are not, so there's another texture missing.

    The Aquarius Destroyer that detaches from the Odyssey cruisers also has a similar issue; the main hull texture becomes solid white (missing texture) when it travels around 6-8 kilometers away from you, and stays that way until it gets closer again.

    That's a distance issue though and there are lots of reasons for that. This is a texture flat out missing from the game or a bug somewhere in the ship because i have 3 computers i can reproduce the issue on and more confirmations from reddit.

    and this is from any distance, any skin, any computer I'm on. anything.

    I have noticed this too on my Mogh. I just knocked it up to the fact that the Mogh's combat armor IS white, not having a good look at the Avenger with it's armor up.

    A bit curious though. Cryptic, do you have an official response on this?

    Well i can confirm to you that it's not suppose to be white. Branflakes himself has told me his mogh has armor textures and does not look like the one in my pictures.

    If it is any help, I run on DX9 graphics and noticed this on all skins as well.

    My Graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 250.

    (In retrospect, I don't mind the white armor. It makes it stand out. But if this is a bug, lets get it addressed anyways.)

    That was BranFlakes idea but i've tested on DX9 and DX11 and no change. I can also reproduce it on 3 computers with 3 different graphics cards on all settings.

    I just finished installing the game through ARC on TWO computers, no change.

    So to recap.

    3 Computers, old and arc installs.
    DX9 or DX11

    Still happens.

    To me that absolutely confirms that this is a bug with the game itself and it should be fixed. Two brand new ships should not be bugged this badly. Though at least the avenger one is tolerable, this one is not.

    I know it's a bug... but it actually looks kind of cool. Klingon textures seem to tend to be uniformly noisy and it tends to wash out shape and details. These areas of simplicity look good.

    (Though I must admit that the Mogh is much cleaner than most Klingon ships)

    Good to know it's a big though. Mine does it too, but since I've never flown the Avenger, I just assumed it was the same texture the Avenger used.

    Personally this does affect my gameplay and performance. I'm not even playing the character anymore because of this. In some missions the glow around the ship is so bad from the lighting on white that i can't even see my ship at certain angels.

    if this was something on my end than i wouldn't be making a big deal about it, but it's not, it's on the games end, this is a major bug on a brand new ship that needs to be fixed.

    Hell even the screwed up emblems on my avenger annoy me but at least it's not as bad as half the ship turning white.

    damn neo, I've seen you in game so much and I haven't heard you mention this at all :D
    In fact, I haven't heard anyone mention this in the past and neither have I seen a mogh with this issue.
    That said, I hope it gets sorted for you soon. Though I must admit it does look rather nice with the little white bits here and there. Perhaps it could be left in as an option?

    Washing out shape and detail is the entire point of a good warship paint job.

    There is also a similar issue with the avenger and i've edited the first post to put this there as well. The fleet/UFP emblem is missing a background causing it to go solid white as well, as with the mogh i've confirmed it on all settings and 3 computers and i've also seen other ships with this same issue. Last night i saw 3 avengers together all with separate sets and hulls, 2 had it and 1 was normal.

    @Cap: i bought it up a couple times, but now i just don't play the character as it's just too annoying to me. Even my fed is annoying thanks to the giant white spots on the saucer with a similar issue

    @Markhawkman: yes, it happens on every single hull material on all 3 computers and all settings. same for the avenger.

    literally the ONLY thing i have not tried to fix this is buying the ships again, but because they will cost me $5 every single time, I'm not willing to try that unless a Dev comes in here and says flat-out that that will fix it.

    We are currently investigating this issue with the Mogh. I don't have an ETA -- still lots of other things on the schedule currently, but we'll do what we can!

    When you get to the Mogh, can you also check to see what's up with the starboard wing? I can't pick the windows for it. (Nor can I switch to the Fleet windows unless using the Fleet wings)

    Probably not related but on my mogh the windows on the starboard aft pylon are locked as window1 all the others can be changed but those will remain the same.
    As a time traveller, Am I supposed to pack underwear or underwhen?

Please also make sure to check out the Avenger's fleet/UFP emblems as that seems to be experiencing the same issue since like the Mogh it does not affect everyone and i can be right next to the same ship with no issues.     I just discovered something about this bug.

    I was playing around in the ship designer with my fleet defiant. I clicked on randomize because you still have to do that to get colors to change (would be nice if that bug could get fixed too) and i noticed that the emblems went white just like my Avenger.

    So just for fun i clicked on sao paulo on the template. they instantly went back to normal. I then clicked on randomize, back to white. vigilant, normal. randomize, back to white, gallant, normal. Randomize, back to white, defiant, stayed white strangely.

    So it appears to me that this bug is most likely something that happens in the designer when you use randomize or with certain templates. Pretty much anytime the designer seems to do change everything this can happen.

    Pressing randomize never seems to fix it, and i don't even know if this is the same bug for the Mogh, but it could be since it's the same white showing up and only shows up for some people.

    Yay for Mogh wing pylon windows being changeable, so long as you use the fleet pylons. Still can't pick fleet windows with the standard pylons even though you can use the fleet skin with either type of wing pylon.

    so they fix only half of that. White texture issue on fleet emblems on fed ships and the mogh armor is still there as well.

    Bumping this up hoping for a fix soon.

    Bumping this up because it has now been two months, no fixes to the Mogh, no fixes to the federation ships, and as a side note also no fix for the fleet arkif.

    These are basic texture problems and there is no excuse for them not being fixed in 2 months+however long they existed before I reported them.

    I'll keep doing it and keep bugging the devs about it until it's fixed or they lock the topic.

    From my own experience in developing these are basic texture issues that don't take more than a few minutes to fix. I've fixed dozens of issues like these in other games without any true development tools like they have.

    It's one thing to have major bugs that take time to fix, that's understandable, it's another to have basic texturing bugs that anyone with basic modeling or texturing experience can fix.
