Can we have a Space Drag race event or mission?

Can we have a space drag race or
mission like summer event from risa flying trough ring with time limit.

i have make my ship ready for it ^^

    look for a Foundry mission called "The Space Race" by Wan5. Hopefully it is still up. Essentially it's a race track for you and 4 of your closest frenemies.

    What's with the racing kick all of a sudden? As a poster mentioned previously there's like 1 or 2 different Foundry missions that feature or revolve around racing to some or complete extent. Plus 'starships' racing isn't something I've ever seen in Trek except for small craft especially in that one Voyager episode I'm sure somebody knows what its called. That said a PvP race similar to the Fast and the Flurriest but in space or atmosphere with shuttles/fighters around a obstacle course with various 'hazards' along the course to spice up the race could be potentially fun. But as far as full sized starships... Hummm... No!

    You can always see if you are the first to the finish line in the tour the universe event... Of course that is all at warp so its not as much about your engine as warp core and HD/cpu speed.

    If they were to implement racing in STO, they would have to do it where everyone is equal. Because of speed boosts and speedx3 or fullx3 impulse engines, will give players a bit of an unfair advantage.

    Um. No thanks. I don't want to see my male human (Fed) character running around in a dress. And my two female characters aren't into dresses either.

    Shuttle/Fighter/Small Craft races A-la Voyager Series --> Delta Flyer, might be OK, I could see that being a "thing" but definitely NOT starships ...
