MACO vs. Borg engines?

I use a scimitar class dreadnaught, and run low power levels on engines and auxiliary. That being said, should I use Subtranswarp or MACO? As a side note, should what should I use for a deflector dish, Assimilated or MACO?

Well, if you are going to use any Assimilated parts, you would do best to use at least two of them in order to get the two-piece hull heal set bonus. A popular setup is to use the MACO shields with the Borg engine and deflector (the MACO shield having about 25% more hit points than the Borg shield and all).

I plan to use Assimilated Dish and Subtwarp engines, along with the elite fleet resiliant resb adapt. I suppose that'll be fine. I could make the MACO sheilds anyway, though.

I use MACO MK XII Shields and Defector but Borg engines MK XII.

If you are looking for the best I would say get the Adapted MACO set. I have had more luck with the adapted MACO set over the last 2 months. Have fun trying them out.
