So console UI will contain fewer abilities, thus giving PC users a massive advantage?:D
I honestly think the networks are going to be split, to null that disadvantage, unless they keep the keyboard options in the game, then the disadvantage would just be personal choice at that point.

That's 2 parallel developments sinking their profits. They're more likely to just nerf our controls to make it fair to the console kiddies.:D

That would be unfortunate, I'm content with how the games functions as far as controls. If I'm not mistaken, the PS3 comes with keyboard and mouse options already built in, couldn't they just build onto the technology the PS3 already has?
Any predictions on how much of a divide this is going to cause? Will we see just a few numbers fall or will the PC servers become a ghost town vs the PS servers?

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Perfect World Entertainment Inc. a leader and publisher of widely-acclaimed free-to-play MMORPGs, announced today a company expansion by creating a console division targeting current and next-gen consoles. Planned console products expected include current and future games from Perfect World Entertainment's suite of developers. Players will be able to experience the best of free-to-play online games on their consoles, bringing PWE's popular games to a whole new audience.
Note that it doesn't say "all current ... games." It could actually only be one game out of the many that PWE runs. STO is, as has been pointed out, a fairly unlikely candidate for a console port. Neverwinter, on the other hand, is practically there already. And that doesn't even begin to delve into the many non-Cryptic games from PWE.
So in light of this, the idea that STO is going to be "gone to the consoles" is hardly more likely than it was before.
"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev

PS3= not on PC server if it's like DCUO. And the abilities are the same.

The servers are separate.

It would be a completely different audience.
Two thoughts.
First, we did this thread already: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=974311
Second, as I said already, stop the panic machine >here<.
The actual press release. http://www.nasdaq.com/press-release/...20131219-00496
Note particularly, the wording here:
