Ha'nom Warbird Build Help

So I've been hovering over the delete button for some time now on my Sci Rommie. The Ha'nom really has me stumped. Biggest problem I seem to have is... well.. the Ha'nom just feels like a small version of a cruiser, with less damage, less tanking, but with a side bonus of being able to throw out a few extra sci abilities.

Before continuing please note: This is for ESTF's only! I don't expect to top the dps charts, but would like to see a vast improvement over how little amount of damage I seem to do.

The build Im looking into would consist of using 1 Phased Tetryon Cannon and 2 torpedoes (don't know which ones) fore/ and 3 turrets aft. Going for a bit of a torpedo boat I think. Biggest problems I'm running in to, what torpedoes seem to work well with such a loadout?

Also, What tactical boff skills should I be using, an ensign and Lt. Com are what are currently available. TT1, C:RF1, and T:Spr1? I was hoping to use the cannon/turrets in conjunction with Tachion beam (maybe 2 copies) to strip shields away easier and then be able to bring some pain down with streams of torpedoes.

Honestly science ships alone have me baffled, but given the ha'nom I find myself completely at a loss. Any information and answers for my above questions would REALLY help out :)

*edit* In the Donatra ESTF I noticed I could GW the probes easily enough but it still took me FOREVER to kill even just 1 of them. Meanwhile if a sphere was thrown in I again could really not damage it at all, and cubes... peh!

    Deflector + Engines - Adapted M.A.C.O
    Shields - Anything with reduced bleedthrough

    Uni Consoles: Omega, Nakuran, Plasmonic Leech?

    Set Bonuses: Nakuran - 7.6% Tet Dmg, Beam upgrade FaW+Overload.
    Adapted M.A.C.O - 25% Torpedo Dmg, +7 Aux systems

    Consoles - Tac: 3x Torp Damage
    - Eng: 1x RCS, 1x Nakuran
    - Sci: 1x Omega, 2x Shield Max hp, 1x Grav generator (increased Exotic Damage)

    I pug all ESTF's with no trouble, regularly.
    Except Hive... It's doable, but is always a kick in the nacelles, regardless of ship. :(
    Haven't found anything in PvE that it couldn't handle. Dyson, Rommie, Fleet stuff...
    It's not a DPS monster, but puts out 1/3 more damage than when I ran her as a torp boat. (regular quantum torps, nothing fancy)

    Can solo cubes in KASE (albeit carefully), does probe duty (never tried both at the same time with her yet),
    Can do BoP duty, and take a 3-spawn of raptors just barely, but not Negh'vars in CSE.
    Handle spheres in ISE.
    And can have all bosses nigh dead in the water so your team can light 'em up.

    On the linked build, I have Tykens 3, but one could easily sub Grav Well 3 instead as needed.
    The Doffs I mention in the notes area aren't necessary, but more for "quality of life".
    Oh, and Overload is your friend :D
