Expanstion on fleet system

Hey guys/Girls I have been talking a lot with fellow fleet members and we were discussing the fleet system and mainly rank and ranking system. At the moment it is 7 ranks my fleet starts at red shirt and ends in Commodore with 5 others in the middle. However we have certain ways that you gain a new or higher rank in the fleet. Mainly its contributions but this is all voluntary and we won?t make members contribute. Other ways is recruitment level and rolls they take such as running events and helping others in the fleet with builds, PvP, PvE and so forth and also if they come onto Team speak. This is a great way to finding out about someone and who they are.
So what I guess I am suggesting is would it not be great if there was sub ranks with in the ranking system itself. I.E
Rank 1. Redshirt, we will leave this as this. As it?s a starting off rank to gain access to the fleet from here we usually ask that you register on our forum!
Rank 2 Unfound. Then have sub ranks such as Unfound Recruit
- Unfound Beginner
- Unfound Member
- Unfound Leader
Rank 3 Section Chief and have the same sort of lay out as above, and again in ranks for 4 and 5. This way you?re recognizing good deeds, effort and rewarding accordingly with in that rank. It would show better structure within a fleet instead of just going from rank 2 to 3 where there are more sensitive responsibilities for such a rank that that person wouldn't benefit from those abilities or responsibilities but yet you are wanting to recognize them in a good way. Just an idea thinking more could be done with the ranking system.
More ideas would be having more bank space, even buying more with Zen or Dilithium. There are a lot of items in this game and if you had one of each item it still would be nowhere near enough bank space. People?s levels vary with in the game and with multiple toons so have bank tabs with different levels of equipment and different quality is great to help fellow fleet members out. Just another little suggestion that would make fleets even better.
So what do you think? Would this be good, any other suggestions you can come up with. Let?s pester the Dev's lol
