Unbind the duty officers from "instigate defection"

I really wish that the duty officers that you get from "instigate defection" were not automatically bound.

I just got a Purple Nausican assault squad officer that I do not want to keep because I already have plenty of assault squad officers. However, I am sure that there are many other players who would love to have a purple Fed Nausican assault squad officer that is stubborn, unruly, aggressive, and unscrupulous. Unfortunately, I cannot put him on the exchange because he is bound.

Please unbind the defectors so that I can spread my luck around to people who want it.

    probably not gonna happen. Defection is a nearly free source of high quality doffs.

    Go to the personnel officer in starfleet academy, trade him for 3 blues and sell those.

    That is not a bad idea. It would still be nice to offer the nausican officer up for other players who would like to have him.

    Another option is officer exchange. Send whatever non-civilian you want to Bajor, cardassia, etc...
