How long have Nausicaan Bridge Officers been getting a 1.5% all damage space buff?

Greetings All,

Just like the topic states I just noticed this weekend that Nausicaan Bridge Officers have a 1.5% all damage and a + 150 Stealth bonus in space.

I've never noticed that they had this bonus in the past or I would have loaded up has many has I could on all my KDF builds :D

I'd also like to know which Bridge Officer Traits still stack with each other because if these Nausicaans stack it will be a nice little damage and Stealth boost for the KDF.

Thanks for your Time

Take a look at the Season 8 patch notes, Cryptic fixed the Pirate trait, it actually works correctly now.

I only realized this recently and hesitantly, sadly, began replacing all of my well endowed female orion crew with pugly nausicans....sniff...

But yeah, the fixed it like some 2 months ago I think.....and they laughed at me for keeping a majority of Nausicaan pirate Boffs on a Guramba! Who's laughing now? :D

I keep waiting for Cryptic to give a space trait to every species to encourage people to diversify.

I have always supported this and I'll keep supporting it. All species are spacefaring, so I guess it's a big possibility that all of them have some space expereince that could translate into a space trait.
However I'm not that much into the min-maxing thing so I usually tend to select my Boff species based on RP and they way I feel a particular crew of mine should look like.

I, too, hired one Nausicaan pirate recently :). It's just pity he can't wear armored leggins. There are Nausicaan NPCs roaming the Qo'nos, having plated torso as well as legs, but my BOFF can only have plated torso. He looks pathetic with "naked" legs, wearing those stretched leather leggins. Or did I miss a way how to enable the plates on the legs?

It seems bizarre to me that you can mandate what a bridge officer can be trained in for his or her billet on your ship, but that their traits are more or less set in stone - despite the fact that traits are apparently just as modifiable for player characters as their skills are.

Of course I tend to just pick my boffs for reasons other than ZOMG MUST MIN/MAX

I have to harass the Dev's on the Tribble forums so the ''Pirate'' trait can work, b4 that i sent a bunch of bug reports to get it fix.

The ''Pirate'' itself was a ground trait then converted to a space trait when LoR was release, it's stats are 2% damage increase and 10 Stealth Destection rating at the time, but it never did really work. it's only during arround the time that the Dyson Rep came out that they fix it with the stats u seen on it now.
