Elite Fleet Disruptor VS Romulan Plasma?

Hi,

Need some help deciding what weapons to use on my tac A2B Schimitar (all offensive):


Elite Fleet Disruptor Beam Arrays

- or -

Romulan Plasma Beam Arrays MKXII


I have access to both.

Which is better, and why?

Will probably not be able to fit a plasma dmg science console as i already have valdore, universals and leach in place...

    Tough choice. The Romulan weapons will give you both disruptor and plasma procs, but they are over twice the dilithium cost. If I couldn't slot even a single embassy damage science console for the plasma proc, I'd probably go for Romulan. The plasma burn can be very useful.
    Then again, many players made use of disruptor proc alone all the time, and very well, so you might find the cheaper disruptors and less grind worth it.
