I just came up with a keybinding code to switch your active channel with a push of a button. and I thought I would share it with the community 
For your bind file
Or directly into chat
Replace ##### with the name of your desired channel
You can use this with Team chat (highly suggested and the first one I did), or custom chat channels. As with all key bindings, make sure you map it to a key you are not already using and spelling is vital.
For your bind file
F7 "channel_setcurrent #####"
Or directly into chat
/bind F7 channel_setcurrent #####
