They're both Fabrication Engineers and they are obviously not meant to stack on their own, but. I don't see why I shouldn't be able to have a ground fabrication engineer and a space fabrication engineer. Is this intended or just a quirk of the system? Functionally speaking I can use both simultaneously, just by deactivating the Space DOFF when. I go to ground and vice versa, but that strikes me as an unnecessary pain.
Secondary to this gripe, can anyone recommend some good engineering ground DOFFs other than the extra turret and mortar DOFFs? I use the Rom Fabrication Specialist kit, Mk XII.
I think it's just a quirk of the system, as the stacking limit is by specialization, but when the system was created I don't think ground and space doffs of the same specialization were anticipated.
Problem is we're starting to get ground and space doffs in the same specialisations, very few used to have a ground and space variety within the same specialization.
This does need looking at if the doff system is going to continue down the path it is going. Separating them into ground and space doffs specifically would help and solve many problems later.

It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.
A master with a stone is better than a novice with a sword.
Has damage got out of control?
This is the last thing I will post.
