Best career for a recluse?

    As far as Careers:

    IMO, Engineer or Science fit best. ENG will bring terrific survivability to the Recluse. Science Captains can land Sensor Scan to land a very nasty debuff on the target(s) (remember, Sensor Scan has a small AOE). The debuff benefits everyone on the team to include your hangar units.

    TAC can still work, but it's not as beneficial as the other two. For one, Attack Pattern Alpha enhances the ship's attacks, and in no way benefits anyone else. Tactical Initiative however is still useful in shortening cooldowns. Fire On My Mark is useful in debuffing a target, but it is single target only.

    If you mostly do PvE content I'd say a Tac for high DPS or a Engie for super tanky. If you want to get into PvP stick with a Sci cappy for the sensor scan and sub nuke beam which is crucial.
    The Advanced or Elite Mesh Weaver Frigates are key for good times.

    As far as a good DPS Build goes for it max DPS i believe would be All MKXII Romulan Beams with one Experimental Beam Array, a Borg KCB and Borg Uni console. Plus all Sci slots filled with +Pla Embassy consoles. Elite Mesh Weavers, and run ApB 2 & 3 and cycle those with beam FAW 1 & 2. Two copies of EptW.
    Search in the PvP forum for a thread called "Learned a thing or two" or something like that. One of the DPS kings posted his 14k DPS Recluse build in there. I'm going off memory but it was mostly what I have listed above.

    I gave my Recluse to a tac captain just to try something different, and it works out great- especially for DPS- although the ship is so sturdy I never get to use GDF.

    gotta get those elite mesh weavers! those badboys do 5-6k dps alone! :D

    going all beam with FAW2 and FAW3, it's very easy to spit out 12-15k dps with tons of tanking
