Here are a few fan made movies that are not only awesome to watch but would be even more awesome if they are made into Foundry Missions.

At the risk of stating the obvious, you'd be best off getting permission in writing from their creative team if you wanted to do anything with them.
"Great War! / And I cannot take more! / Great tour! / I keep on marching on / I play the great score / There will be no encore / Great War! / The War to End All Wars"

Not to forget one big problem with incorporating any Star Trek movie novel or other story into a foundry mission. Inside the foundry the hero/main characters have to be the player, their BOFFs and their ship.

The problem is that with other more traditional stories the author creates the characters in this case the Author has no control over the main characters. So as a result specific stories may just not work in a broader sense.

....or make the story part of an alternate time line where the storylines stay in tact but the characters are different.

Q's Winter Land as Foundry Missions

I think Foundry Missions based upon very races customs of the Federation would be an awesome setting to undertake.

Each Cultural Foundry Mission would see the environment set up around a races holiday customs that would further develop the background stories for each race.

For example a Romulan Cultural Foundry Mission would involve sneaking through a Romulan Senate meeting and stealing data disks without getting caught or drinking Romulan Ale to its fullest.

Klingons would have their festivals set up around hand to hand combat, phaser duels and drinking Blood Wine as well as The Targ Race where each player would ride a Targ in a race or have to wrestle one to win the prize

    Sorry Q....Finger Snap...Quantum Flash Point...you can't beat a human.
