Free B'Rotlh skin still broken

Hey there, I actually bought this ship earlier because I thought it looked cool. Even though I now consider it somewhat of a slap in the face to give it away free to others maybe the developers can use this opportunity to finally fix this ship. Ever since it came out the B'Rotlh skin works on the c-store B'Rel Retrofit but not the Fleet B'rel Retrofit. Since you're now giving it away to thousands think you could make the skin work?

I imagine the code looks something like

brotlh can use brotlh skin = yes/1
brel_retrotfit can use brotlh skin = yes/1
fleet_brel_retrofit can use brotlh skin = no/0

Come on lets change that zero to a one. Also - the induction coils console says it works with maintenance engineer doffs when you hover over it but it doesn't. Before the Mogh this was the only ship the KDF got for over a year and not only was it T1 it's had two things broken on it.

Stop treating KDF like 3rd class citizens. Any time something is wrong with a new Fed or Romulan ship it gets fixed the same week. These problems have gone on for a long time but for some reason making red and green winter coat belts gets priority?

I managed to get myself the Fleet B'Rel and would really like to have this ship skin on it!! It's and amazing peice of modelling such a shame that my end-game ship cannot use it at the minute.

by the way cryptic, the best way to generate interest in all the tier 1 through 4 c store refits, is to make a fleet version of these ships, so we can use these high quality models on a ship we can actually fly at end game.

Seems like it might be tough to make the BoPs all different from one another at the fleet level, at least in such a way that they become equally viable purchases without the advantage of a C-store discount (since we're suggesting a standalone Fleet release rather than a C-store retrofit).

Maybe it would be easier to make the BoP skins one-size-fits-all?

Or perhaps release a single "Fleet Heg'hta" that has access to the skins of the free BoPs (and the refit skins with C-store purchase), with the exception of the Fleet Norgh, Ho'sus, and Fleet B'rel, since those two are already on the store.

The above actually has precedent, considering that the Armitage, which is technically in a different class of ship than the Heavy Escort, can use any of the free/refit Heavy Escort skins, and even changes model size according to parts used. Same with the Haakona Advanced Warbird, which is technically not the same as a Ha'pax, but the purchase of which unlocks alternative skin options for ALL three of the free T5 Warbirds as well as the Fleet versions.

I agree that the bug that doesn't allow the B'rotlh skin on the fleet B'rel should be fixed and I have been saying so since the B'rotlh was released. It really is a great looking skin that I actually prefer over the standard B'rel.

I however do not agree with the asessment that we're treated like 3-rd class citizens. If anything, the treatement of the KDF has improved a lot this year compared to previous times.

I would argue that a fleet Hegh'ta or even a new heavy raider that would be a succesor of the Hegh'ta is being considered and even in preliminary works. I think that could very much be the devs. answer to the complaints that in the new reality of STO the raiders are way too squishy and underpowered. The new flakning mechanic possibly takes care of underpowered. A fleet Hegh'ta or a new heavy BoP would take care about the squishy part.

Not sure they'll ever be allowed to use all BoP skins, though. However if any STO ship class gets the priviledge to interchange all skins it would probably be the KDF raiders, since there's nothing to hide behind the skin there - every BoP is all universal and has the standard 3/3/3 layout. (+1 on certain fleet versions, but that's no biggie)

I wish they would fix this along with KHG uniforms, special uniforms that don't work for the KDF like the jem hadar, etc. As well there should be some more ways to customize the hoh'sus too its just so freaking ugly that any Klingon would call it ugly and we have some nice looking ugly ships but the hoh'sus is something you wouldn't even claim is yours out in the parking lot its so damn ugly.

I will does a blog on the hoh'sus it goes a little something like this...

A young ensign was forced to disengage the warp drive of the old ship from the museum that was a NX class. The crew of cadets were about to embrace for sto'vo'kor when one of the cadets went for some coffee and accidentally fired the grappler and it went thru 100 holes of hoh'sus's and then the warp drive came back online and in an instant the 100 hoh'sus bird of preys were instantly destroyed. On the return home there was a communication that due to this the captain of this ship was promoted to vice admiral with no real experience but it did not matter because this captain had blown up so many ships from the mirror universe.
