Are you serious?
Yes, my tone is completely intentional. A winter event focused around obviously, Christmas, which coincidentaly is about giving and not receiving; etc. You place a key item(to the event, that's part of an accolade, and is going for decent amount on the exchange), that only one person can get per run, and can only be recieved by 'outracing' everyone else to it.
All anyone is doing is sprinting past all the mobs to make sure to get it(for their use or to sell it) then a lot of people just afk till other people finish the instance.
Just ...what...were...you...thinking...
Recommendations: Don't do another event with that gimmick. Secondly just add the present 'drops' to the end reward, or let everyone click it, OR one person click it and one person in the group gets it(still sucks but better).
I'm just really disapointed in this design philosophy.

1.) It's currently working as intended, which really isn't in the spirit of the holidays. The message is kinda screwy, leading people to think they've found something when they haven't. (i.e. A found the present, but B gets a message saying B found it, but B doesn't see anything in his inventory)
or...
2.) It's currently NOT working as intended. Maybe everyone is supposed to get something when the present is found?
Link to the report saying it's not working as intended? Yea...didn't think so.
Here's a tip... Sprint the long straighter stretches of track and walk the sharp corners. If your getting near the edge, hit 'Space' to Jump, or rollover in the direction you want to go to avoid getting of the track as it will stop you from sliding. (roll by taping the W,A,S, or D key twice in quick succession.) If you still lose, at least you can keep trying until you do win. its not a one shot pop. Gotta watch those Breen in particular. They love to 'cheat'! XD
