HELP! Sphere of Influence Bugged? Can't Access Dyson Sphere

Hey guys,

Anybody got any suggestions or help on this one?

My 12 month old lv 50 KDF tac (they grow up so quick) cant access the Dyson Sphere... I am unable to pick up the Sphere of Influence Mission in order to progress the arc and gain access...

Notice :

1. Greyed out Missions in the Episodes window...
2. Can't warp to dyson sphere bottom right (requires 2nd mission in story arc) and strangely...
3. Notice... in quick missions window on the right ... Unexpected Friend... Meet with Subcom Kaol.. go to dyson sphere joint command... HOW!! I CANT!

HELP. COMMENTS AND A DEV WOULD BE GREAT! As I cannot play the vast majority of S8 content on this toon....

    Have you completed or clicked "skip" on all the previous missions?

    Sphere of Influence is now part of the storyline track. If you didn't do it during it's run, youre up a a creek without a paddle.

    I didn't do Sphere of Influence with any of my 3 characters and my KDF Orion has no problem getting into the Sphere via the gateway in Tau Dewa (I haven't tried with my FED human yet). Only my FED-allied Romulan can't get into the Sphere, though. If my KDF Orion can, why not my FED-allied Romulan also? I don't know.

    The difference is probably caused by moving the sphere "tutorial" into the mission progression - it's now gated by finishing/skipping everything up to Sphere of Influence. Prior to that, it only required level 50.

    I had the same problem with someone who I leveled through PvP. You just need to skip through the story until you get to the circles mission. It looked like you could do it from the gate but you can't pick it up until you get to that point in the episode story line. So skip through until you reach it like others have said. I had to do a few lower level missions in some categories to skip through.

    The devs should probably take out that prompt to do the circles mission at the gate unless you have picked up the episode mission to stop any confusion.

    Since I didn't do Sphere of Influence for my other two characters, I suppose they'll never get into the Dyson Sphere? That definitely bites. I avoid fighting Tholians in both space and on ground whenever possible (even if a character can't die, it's frustrating getting killed over and over again just because they aren't equipped with Mark XII everything). I've managed to survive the Paehhos Caves twice (both times were really hard for me, though; respawning at least five or six times), and did the Underground Ruins once. No thanks. Well, Dyson's one battlezone I'll be avoiding 2/3 of the time.

    You don't have to do sphere of influence... you just skip the episode and hail the circles epsiode mission and fly to the solonae gate. This is providing you have either done or skipped all the other episode missions before the sphere mission as well. It's no different than trying to go and do the breen missions without first visiting DS9 along the way and skipping the rest of the episodes.
