Tholian bridge doesn't have them, and I don't think the Jem Hadar bridge does either.
Not to sound like the whiney little kid but its still there in the cinematic for the Sphere of Influence mission and the option is there for you to sit in the captains chair where the chair was because that was updated recently in a patch so if the chair was going to be taken away eventually from the player version of the ship why is the option still there on the bridge

No, you're right on that.
But, the Obelisk Bridge that comes with the ship is noticeably different than the one that is in Sphere of Influence.
The SoI one *does* have a captain's chair and control panel for the Captain. It'd be nice if the one we actually got matched the mission bridge.
Also, why are only two bridge officers on the bridge? It'd be honestly be nice if at least a few more of the officers were there, at least one per each station. The bridge is big and feels so... empty.

The Captains chair and console such as it was were removed from the player ship, you can still sit on air where the chair is supposed to be, the hatch is broken, it's sitting too far in such that you can see past it into an empty space.
The aren't enough console positions to justify having your entire bridge crew present. No trophy area, no engineering, no crew deck, and the bridge itself looks half finished. I can only hope that they will eventually put some effort into giving the Advanced Obelisk some semblance of an interior if they are expecting people to invest lobbi's to get one.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
I did remember seeing a chair in the mission, but it was set back too far from the console to be useful. I do think that it should be replaced and either moved forward or the console needs to be moved back. And chairs added for the other BOFF slots. If the ship has been commandeered and repurposed for use by Starfleet, KDF, or the Republic, then they WOULD have added such conveniences to make the ships more practical.
On a ship that size with a bridge that big you would think there would be a lot more activity. In the mission you had to assign 4 officer positions yet on your ship they are all empty save one. it would make more sense in my perspective to put the active consoles around the captains position and put boffs at the various positions that were occupied by Worf and company during the mission, maybe scatter a few more consoles around and man them by random personnel. A missing chair is nothing compared to just how completely boring this bridge is.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
